Track and windspeed of Tropical cyclone Jade

Tropical cyclone Jade struck Madagascar as a tropical storm at about 00:00 GMT on 8 April. Data supplied by the US Navy and Air Force Joint Typhoon Warning Center suggest that the point of landfall was near 21.4 S, 49.0 E. Jade brought 1-minute maximum sustained winds to the region of around 74 km/h (46 mph). Wind gusts in the area may have been considerably higher.
