JERUSALEM, Jan 6 (Reuters) - Three Israeli soldiers were killed and four were wounded by an Israeli tank shell fired in error during fighting in the Gaza Strip, the military said on Tuesday.

A total of four soldiers have been killed since Israel launched a ground assault against the enclave's Hamas rulers on Saturday. (Writing by Joseph Nasr)
